To Be Not In Love

Sometimes it becomes too important for you to be in love. You crave for a few sweet words to be to said to you. A simple breeze that strikes your face makes you feel the absence of not being in love. To be in love is great. Oh well, how will I know? Have I ever been in love? No, I haven’t.

Let me take a very few examples, who do you think of the very moment when you realize that its raining? Some might curse the weather for getting all their clothes wet, but those who are in love will enjoy every drop which touches their face! The world seems very strange when you are not in love with anyone. You try to find logic in everything, curse those dumb faces who seem head over heels in love.

Anyway, what the world fails to understand is that we are all in love with someone, always. Be it your mother, father, yourself, or your pet dog! When I see others being in love, my heart aches. It aches not because I have no one who would call me beautiful or say that I can’t spend a day without talking to you, but because of the terrible feeling that I might never find a person to whom I could say lovely things. It does take time to fall in love with someone, but the emptiness I feel right now, it’s killing me from inside. It feels as if I have been waiting my entire life to be in love with someone! They say, it’s like a curse, but I say I am ready for it. They say you are too young, I say there’s no age to fall in love.  Even I want to possess someone’s heart, make him mine forever and  and never let go. But it all seems so vain now, because there is no one to love me back.
